This As That Productions began in 2011 by Lenore Eklund with a mission is to create films with positive and empowering messages that will inspire the audience to bring ideas from the films into their own lives.  The films by Lenore have screened from community groups to international film festivals and are available to watch online.

 

In recent years, Lenore turned her creative focus to writing and illustrating her first graphic novel, Release: A NICU Fairytale. The graphic novel is a personal memoir that came from processing the trauma experienced in the hospital following the birth of her daughter. Lenore continues to create comics that focus on advocacy humor for a monthly editorial on Medical Motherhood.

 

Lenore lives in Portland, Oregon with her partner and their daughter. She co-owns the restaurant, The Baker's Mark, with her partner. Lenore continues to explore creative release during time away from advocacy and caregiving.
